Privacy Policy — ANT (Audible Notification Testing)

ANT (“the app”) is developed by Hoggtopia (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the app handles information. Questions: hoggtopia@gmail.com.

In short: ANT is an offline tool. It has no user accounts, requires no internet connection, and does not transmit your data to us or to any third party. Everything you create stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it.

Information the app handles (all on your device)

• Facility & inspection data — facility, building, and floor names; floor-plan images you add; pin locations; dB readings; test results; and notes. Stored locally on your device (in the browser/WebView IndexedDB).
• Photos — if you attach a photo to an inspection point, it is captured with your device camera or chosen from your gallery and stored locally alongside your inspection data. Photos are never uploaded.
• Microphone — used only to measure ambient sound levels (decibels) in real time during a test. No audio is recorded, saved, or transmitted; the microphone signal is used momentarily to compute a sound-level reading and then discarded.

Permissions and why they are used

• Camera — to attach photos to inspection points.
• Microphone — to measure sound levels (dB). No audio is recorded or stored.
• Storage / Photos — to save files you export and to attach images.

Data sharing and transmission

The app does not send your data to us or to any third party. It contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking components. You may choose to export facility/inspection files and share them (for example by email or another app); any such sharing is initiated by you and under your control — the app does not transmit data on its own.

Data storage, retention, and deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time using the app’s Clear Inspection Data or Clear All Data options, or by uninstalling the app.

Children

ANT is a business/productivity tool intended for facility-inspection professionals and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above will reflect any changes.
